"By the age of 12, she breezed through multiple piano grades and mastered Für Elise to play in front of her school. Music and dancing were Kerri's drive. No matter what the occasion or where we were, if there was music, she would always be the first to dance and get the party started. "Games and Chinese puzzles were no match for Kerri's skills at working things out and she wouldn't give up until she'd mastered the secrets. She also had more 'did you knows' than Chappie Papers (ask any South African about this!). When it came to outer space, Kerri was our personal tour guide of the night sky and for that she will remain forever our shining star. "Kerri's passing was very sudden at the vibrant age of 34. If there was any legacy that she would want to have left behind besides the love and joy she is remembered by, it would be to empower young people through music. This is what encouraged and carried her through the good times and the bad. "May our beautiful Kerri rest in peace."
